I just took six propane tanks, with various levels of emptiness, down for filling. It cost $63 and change to put 18 gallons of propane in the six tanks. Ouch!
One of the questions non-homebrewers always ask is how much it costs to brew a batch of beer. Propane is one of those “extra” costs for homebrewing that you don’t really see or feel when you are putting together a batch. I guess it needs to be accounted for…
